Where this applies

India mode names from the store; the practice routine is general player guidance, not an India playtest.

What to do

  1. Before queuing, locate movement, camera, fire, aim, reload, healing and the map. Adjust button placement until you can reach them without covering the centre of the screen.

  2. For Battle Royale, choose a quieter landing, collect basic equipment and check the safe zone before chasing opponents. Move between cover rather than crossing open ground without a plan.

  3. For Clash Squad, stay close enough to trade with teammates, communicate one clear direction and avoid spending every resource without a plan for the next round.

  4. After a match, review one mistake: late rotation, exposed reload or lost teammate position. Practice that one action in a safe practice area if your build offers one.

Worked checks & examples

A first-session sequence you can repeat

Start with a short setup check rather than a ranked target. In a practice area if available, move, turn, aim, fire, reload and heal without looking for each button. Then open and close the map while stationary. If a button blocks your view or causes an unintended action, adjust only that button and repeat. This is a general learning exercise; it does not assert that a particular practice mode or menu exists in every India build.

Battle Royale: choose between loot and movement

At each safe pause, ask three questions: where is the next safe area, what cover leads toward it, and can I move with my current equipment? If the area is far away, leave optional loot rather than completing a collection. If an opponent blocks the route, compare a covered detour with an exposed fight. An example goal for one match is reaching the next safe area with the team; that is more actionable than demanding a win or a fixed elimination count.

Clash Squad: make one useful team decision

Before a round, agree on a simple direction and identify who you can support. If a teammate takes contact, move to a position that can help without stacking in the same exposed line. If separated, communicate your position before rushing after them. Spend with the next round in mind using the options your build actually offers. These are general team habits, not guaranteed tactics or claims about the current India economy, weapon prices or map rotation.

Review one cause, then end the session cleanly

After a loss, name the action you controlled: crossed open ground, reloaded before cover, checked the map too late, or lost sight of the team. Repeat that action safely once rather than changing sensitivity, layout and strategy together. If the real cause was stutter or delayed actions, use the performance guide instead of training around a technical fault. Stop for fatigue, frustration or an in-game break reminder. A short note on one improvement is enough for the next session.

Choose your next step

If aiming and moving together feel difficult, simplify the control layout first. Adding more fingers or copying a creator's layout is not automatically an improvement.
